For many years, Jane Winter, M.A.,M.F.C.C., has been a facilitator of personal transformation and awakening. She has twenty five years of experience as a licensed marriage and family counselor; but has moved far beyond traditional therapy. She works with individuals, couples, families and groups. Her love of nature, Kauai and the Hawaiian culture influence her personal development work.

Jane lived in California and led workshops on Kauai for years. She was inspired to follow her dreams and move to Kauai over 15 years ago, to live amidst the beauty and healing "mana" (life force) of the Island.

Jane has a private psychotherapy practice on Kauai for individuals, couples and families. She was also a core member of Shakti Gawain's clinical staff and co-leader for many of Shakti's programs. Jane has co-facilitated retreats for the National Holistic Veterinarian Association and for Japanese Venerations both on Kauai and in Japan.

Jane was a part of my core teaching staff in my intensive personal development workshops on Kauai for many years. She is highly skilled at facilitating deep psychological development and spiritual healing. Her love for the beauty of Kauai and her knowledge of Hawaiian culture support individuals in creating a deep and meaningful connection with themselves and nature. Jane shares her Island home with her soul mate, life partner and husband, Dr. Ihor Basko, a holistic veterinarian. Jane has three grown children and two granddaughters. In addition to her private practice, Jane's days are filled with communion with the spirits of the Islands, hula, gardening, hiking, swimming and Yoga.
